JESUS AT THE CENTER. A CHURCH FOR THE CITY.
Our Story
Our story began with a desire to help people know Jesus and find a church family where they could grow in faith together.

Officially becoming Redeemer City Church
Pine Hills Church had a vision to plant 10 churches in 10 years, each growing toward becoming an autonomous local church. Many of our launch team members lived near Auburn. As the team prayed about where to plant, doors began opening here in ways they hadn’t elsewhere.
On November 13, 2022, Pine Hills Auburn held its first service at the DeKalb County Fairgrounds. In April 2023, we moved to our current location. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, we will officially become Redeemer City Church—continuing the vision that helped bring our church into being.
Why Redeemer City Church?
“Redeemer” points to the center of our church: Jesus Christ. He has redeemed us to be His people, and His Person and work have been our foundation from the beginning. We believe the Gospel shapes more than our basic beliefs. It reaches into the depths of who we are, transforming our relationships, our priorities, and how we live each day.
“City Church” reflects our desire to be close to the people we hope to reach. We want to share life with our neighbors and be present in the places where everyday life happens—in neighborhoods, backyards, and community spaces throughout Auburn and the surrounding areas. We want to love people where they are and invite them to hear and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A Church Family to Share Life With
Some of our greatest encouragement has come from watching people return to Christ with renewed faith after years away from church, and seeing people who were far from God being drawn near to Him.
Our hope is that you will find genuine connections and meaningful relationships here. We weren’t created to live on an island, especially in our faith. The Bible’s many calls to love, encourage, serve, and care for “one another” remind us that following Jesus is a life we share.
Whether you’re exploring Christianity, returning to church, or looking for a church family, we would love to get to know you—and make room for you in the story God is continuing to write here.
