Grow in Christ.
Knowing Jesus, growing in His grace, and helping others to follow Him.
Jesus died for our sins and rose again. By God’s grace, we follow Him in faith—opening Scripture, growing together, and helping others know Him.
Reading God’s Word
Meeting Christ and letting the Gospel shape our lives.
English Standard Version
The ESV is Redeemer’s primary recommendation for Bible reading, study, teaching, and memorization. We also recommend the NIV, NASB, and CSB.
Explore the ESV ↗Study Bibles
Our primary recommendation is the ESV Study Bible, with the CSB Study Bible as an alternative. Notes, maps, and introductions can support your reading of Scripture.
Explore Crossway Study Bibles ↗ESV Scripture Journals
Read a biblical book with room to write observations, questions, and prayers. Useful for personal study, sermon notes, and reading Scripture with someone else.
Explore New Testament Scripture Journals ↗The biblical text is inspired Scripture. Study notes are helpful explanations written by human authors.
Bible reading plans
Meet Christ in His Word. Choose a manageable rhythm, pray for understanding, and let the Gospel shape your response.
Read the Gospel of John.
Read one chapter a day for 21 days. Ask: What does this show me about Jesus? What does it call me to believe or do? Read with a friend and talk about what you discover.
Begin with John 1 ↗Every Day in the Word

Read one chapter from each of ten lists every day. When you finish a list, begin it again; the rotating readings help you see connections across Scripture. This is a more intensive option for a sustained daily reading rhythm.

Read passages in an order that follows the events of biblical history. This printable plan, recommended in Ligonier’s reading-plan collection, helps you see how the Bible’s story unfolds and points us toward Christ.

READ WITH FRIENDS
YouVersion Bible App
Reading the Bible with friends is a great way to grow together in Christ. Choose a Bible plan in YouVersion, select “With Friends,” and invite others to join you. Read the same passages, discuss what you are learning, ask questions, and encourage one another to trust and follow Jesus.
You can begin today. If you miss a day, pick up where you left off. The aim is to know Christ and respond to His Word in faith—not simply finish a checklist.
